Mama
slip slapping
toes to heal clapping,
mule shoes beating
ta tap ta tap ta tap tap,
walking to the music
in her head or body,
and before her
dancing to her feet music
her boy,
her 'loved child
dipping,
tip, tip tipping
side slipping
arms flapping
fingers dancing
feet strutting,
a page,
preceeding his queen.
